Week 23 With Baby Jr.

Yesss!!

I turned 23 Weeks Pregnant today! :)

Alhamdulillah so far everything is doing well and okay with me & Baby Jr.! Eventhough I tend to worry a bit whenever he stopped or didn't move but my worries went away when suddenly I felt the nudge/kick in my belly again!

Awwww... There you are, Baby!

Mummy misses your kicks, turns and whatnot... ;)

Hmmm...

It's peaceful today!

As I read through all the progress and development of Baby Jr. from Week to Week, I can't stop smiling and thinking that in less than 4 months time, we'll be seeing our first baby... And it's for real!!! Tak sabar rasanya... ;D

Ya Allah, permudahkan segalanya untukku and Baby Jr... *amen*

Seperti biasa yang saya buat every Tuesday, I love to read my Baby Jr.'s Weekly development from some Pregnancy Websites. Banyak laa websites yang memang me dah siap² bookmark & every Tuesday for sure I'll have my weekly reads at those sites! :)

Wahh.. Banyak perbezaan tu! Looks like, my dear Baby Jr. is growing bigger than the week before! Alhamdulillah... :)

Hmmmm...

So lets see my Pregnancy Updates up till this Week/today! :)

On Being 23 Weeks Pregnant

• I still feel fatigue at times.

• I'm out of breath sometimes... Mengah jer rasa! :P

• I still have sleeping difficulty! I keep waking up in the middle of my sleep, for few times! :(

• My belly has become more round like a basketball (I think!)...

• I still can't cook for dearest Husband... :( Ohh I'm sorry, Sayang! It's not like I hate to cook for you but I still can't stand long enough to finish all the cooking process! My baddd... :(

• I still can't accept 'Nasi Goreng' as my meals!!

• I still can't accept any fried food yang nampak macam dimasak terlebih minyak... Oily jer tekak nih! Iskk! :(

• I crave love to eat Roti Canai (kosong) ntah sejak bila ntah... Dulu takde laa suka sangat! Biasa² jer... Now everyweek (sometimes berderet hari²) nak makan tu tak kira pagi or malam²... Haihh! And I realized that Baby Jr. loves it as everytime after I ate Roti Canai (kosong), he will move and turns actively!! Ohh... Ikot Daddy ekk suka makan Roti Canai! Hehehe...

• Husband & I are still finalizing our Baby List! It seems like there's a lot to buy but we think that most Baby Lists that we found online, banyak benda merepek jer! Rasa cam tak perlu laa kot nak beli semua sebab banyak stuffs yang boleh tunggu sampai baby besar sket baru beli... Kalau beli skang, cam membazir jer! So that's why we're still in the middle of finalizing the final list of Baby Jr.'s stuffs! Being the first cucu for both sides of our families (mine & Husband's), banyak benda betul kene beli sebab tak banyak benda yang orang lain leh pass-down to us! Huhuhu... Even if ada yang leh pass-down (ada ke??) to us, si Mummy-to-be nih ala² nak semua benda baruuu for Baby Jr.! Hehehe.. Ngengade kan? :P But heyy! Any 2nd-hand stuffs from anyone is most welcomed here! Tak kisah punyaaa... *wink*

• My boobs are getting biggerrrr! I bought 3 new Bras (but not maternity/nursing ones though) from Debenhams (at The Curve) around 3 weeks ago & boyy, they're really comfy! You see... Having big boobs are DEFINITELY an asset to me but seriously, it's very veryyy hard to find the right size & Bras tau... Huhuhu!

• I have mild cramps (or whatever that is, I'm not sure) below my belly at times and I think, probably it's due to my active moves on bed, be it when I tried to stand or when I sit... Is it normal?? I hope so!

• I talk to my Baby Jr. every single day & everytime he moves... :)

• Hubby felt Baby Jr.'s first definite kick/move last night at around 02:00+ when my instinct told me that he's going to move, then I quickly placed Hubby's hand and pressed lightly on my belly then taddaaaa!! KICK! KICK! Hihihi... Hubby was sooo excited as so far Mummy jer yang rasa kan, and Baby Jr. slalu tak gerak bila Hubby letak tangan dia kat my Belly. Ntah camne semalam, Alhamdulillah Hubby dapat rasa yang betul²nya... Terkejut dia cam tak caya! Baru dia tau skang camne rasa "kicks" tu! :)

• I'm currently in the mood of shopping for Baby Jr.'s stuffs!! Yayy! Ohh... As per this website, I am 5.3 Months Pregnant and I'm currently in my 6th Month of Pregnancy!! Pastu, some blogger friends pun dah suggest untuk start buying baby's stuffs from now sikit² sebab nanti bila dah 7 or 8 Months Pregnant, lagiii tak larat! Hmm... I rasa betul jugak kan?? Sebab tu laa me & Hubby dah start beli sikit²... :P

• Sekarang nih, rasa cam makin susah nak pee cara mencangkung! FYI, me nih tak suka, tak selesa and tak biasa guna toilet yang duduk tu. Plak tu, rasa cam geliii jer sebab banyak punggung yang dok kat atas tu... Kalau terpaksa sangat guna pun, for sure bertimbun tissue paper me letak atas toilet seat tu, then baru duduk dengan perasaan yang masih geliii!! Iskkk... So skang nih terpaksa laa mula² menjinakkan diri ngan toilet jenis duduk tu! Susah okeh... Skang kalau mencangkung jer, rasa berat kat bahagian bawah belly and ala² rasa tertekan sket! Iskkk...

• Tu jer la kot wat masa nih yang terfikir nak tulis... Rasanya ada lagi tapi tak dapat nak fikir dah! Kalau ada lagi, I'll update from time to time okeh? :)

Hmmm...

OMG!!! Did I just feel his kicks just now? Right in the middle of my abdomen... Slightly below my boobs?? Oh my... Tinggi tuhh! Kuatnya kicks anak Mummy nih ekk... Terkejut betul! 2 kali lak tu... Pegang kat area situ terus Baby kick Mummy ekk! Hihihi.. So cute!! Tak sabar nak balik kerja nak kasi Hubby rasa... Dah agak dah, everytime "bertukar Minggu", sure Baby Jr. active sangat²!!! And that kick just now was the most kuat & terasa!! Terlompat jap me... Hihihihi... Mmmuuahhhh my Baby!!! :D

Another reading I did on another favourite Pregnancy Website, the Review of Week 23 states "Baby is getting (a little) plumper, but Mommy may notice something completely different when she glances at her own belly: the linea nigra."

So....

What's linea nigra?? :)

A question I've been asking myself (and asking my Mom & some others) for so long! Heh. As per the update on Week 23 from that website, Linea Nigra means/is... "That vertical line on your belly is a pregnancy trademark that shows up on moms-to-be of all stripes." :)

Heh. I'm sure most Moms-to-be out there dah lama perasan "the vertical line" kan?? Me pun start perasan the line since early Pregnancy lagi, kiranya awal² dulu laa... Cam bila perut dah mula membulat, line tu makin jelas & clear! Pelik gak memula... Tapi dapat agak, mesti sebab Pregnant nihh! I even showed it to my Mom. Dia gelak jer! Memang laa tengah Pregnant "line" tu jadik obvioussss! Huhuhu. Malu jap me! Ye lahh... Saya kan first-timer. Manalah nak tau yang "line" tu apa and nape tetiba ada! Hehehe... :P

Okay... So more info about Linea Nigra, check out this link! :) There's nothing to worry about since it's normal for every Preggers! Well, I tak risau pun sebab tau line tu became obvious sure bersebab kan... Hihihi!
