Adzryl's 2nd Birthday Outing

*ahem*

My son is almost 2 years 3 months now! Time flies so fast nowadays.. Kejap jer kan? :)

Well, unlike last year where we held a birthday party for him, this year it's different. We opt for a lepak² birthday celebration for our little guy! :)

Mula² tu memang lah thought nak buat birthday party jugak. Tapi masa tak cukup & budget memang tight (sebab nak raya dah kan). His 2nd birthday masa before bulan puasa hari tu & me memang tak suka nak postpone² lama sangat kalau nak buat party. Sebab feel dia lain kalau wat lambat². Hehe. Mengada kan? :þ

So at last, we cancelled his birthday party plan and proceed with our little family outing! Yayy! :)

That 1-day outing was wonderful. We sure had a great time together, just the 3 of us!! ;)

We started the day awal. Pagi² dah bangun gi breakfast and right on time sampai KLCC nak jalan² kat Aquaria. Kiranya, Aquaria bukak jer kitorang terus masuk! Hehehe.

1st time bawak Adzryl tengok movie. Nervous gak! Takut dia nangis ke, menjerit ke apa ke. Ye lah. Dalam cinema tu kan bising. Pastu gelap plak tu. Tapi tang gelap I tak risau sangat 'coz dia memang dah biasa tido or dok dalam gelap. Heh. Tapi tang bising tu I risau takot dia terkejut ke apa kan.

Since it's his 1st cinema experience (on the day he turned 2 years old), we decided to watch Kungku Panda 2 at GSC Signatures. Our 1st time there too. Sebab fikir nak kasi dia selesa sket. Tengok Premiere screening puas hati 'coz seat besar kan. Pastu beli 2 tickets jer leh dok 3 orang! Hehe. Tapi memang la expensive sket. Tak kisah lah. Asalkan my son selesa. ;)

And seriously, tabik lah kat budak tecik sorang ni. Dia tak takut langsung! Siap layan tengok movie tu sambil makan popcorn. Pastu part lawak² dalam cerita tu pun dia join gelak sama. Heh. Macam faham jer kan. Ehh. Dia faham kotttt. Hehehehehe.

Oh well. He watched the movie until the end, tak tido langsung! Cuma bila dah nak abis movie tu, baru la dia gesel² mintak dukung so he sat on me until abis movie. Such a good boy! Well behave lah anak Mummy ni. Lepas ni boleh tengok movie lagi with Mummy & Daddy, okay! Mwahhh! :D

Then after the movie, gi dinner plak.

We dined in at Tony Romas MidV!! Weeeeee.. Om nom nom nommm!! :D

I've ventured into a new business now! I've closed down my previous business (A&F Hijab) and started a new fresh one with my lovely partner, Zatty! ;)

Well, Zatty ni kawan I kenal through blogs jugak. We became close with the rest of the gang & after a while kitorang discuss² and decided to form a partnership and taddaaaaaa... COTTONMOMS is born!! Yayy.. Alhamdulillah..

Our business has been good.. I busy pun lately sebab CM jugak lah! Hihihi. ;)

13 Months Old

Alhamdulillah...

My son is 13 Months old today. :)

Ohh! This is just a quick entry. I kat office ni so takleh update banyak². Hiks.

Hmm. So how's my lil'boy at 13 Months old. His achievement or milestones, that is?

Lets see.......

• He's still fully consuming Mummy's milk. Alhamdulillah... Hingga titisan terakhir, that's my promise to him! Insya Allah. :)

• He can stand on his own. Wobbly² sometimes tapi he'll repeat it banyak kali until stable. Pastu senyum² and angkat or tepuk tangan bila dah berdiri sendiri. :)
  

• He loves to jump! But of course, sambil kena pegang la kan. Tak reti lompat sendiri lagi. Hihi.

• He can only walk 2 steps at the moment and terus sambung crawl! Haha. Sooo cute! It's okay. Whenever you're ready, son! ;)

• He loves to laughs and giggles!! Tapi bila depan orang lain, he'll behave and become pendiam! Hiks. Hardly tengok dia mengamuk, cry or cakap² depan orang lain. Tapi kalau depan us, the parents, cakap non-stop!! Membebel² jer! Paling obvious when he turned 13 Months old ni, his baby language dah berubah! I can hear a difference in his voice tone and the words yang dia sebut. As if he's talking to us but in his own language. Awwww... So cute!!! ;D
  

• He loves cats!!! Ohhh. Daddy dia suka betul anak dia suka cats! When we say meoww, our lil'boy akan tercari² cats kat bawah or kat lantai. Kalau dia nampak cats, dia excited sangat!! Siap suara dia terus bertukar jadi lembut and manja² sambil sebut 'ieoww ieowww' camtu. Awww! ;) Ehh tapi Mummy dia plak rasa tak best. Not that I hate cats, tapi I penggeli sket ngan kucing ni. Sebab kalau try nak angkat, terasa tulang dia gerak². Scary, youuu! Hahaha. Ntah pape kan I? :P Tapi it's a good thing that my son loves cats. Bila besar nanti leh tolong jauhkan cats yang datang dekat Mummy. Hihihi.

• His favourite activity ialah panjat-memanjat. Sofa ke, katil ke, apa² je lah! Aiyooo! Sampaikan toy box dia yang besar and rendah tu pun dia suka panjat siap duduk² atas tu. Risau tergolek je! Haihhh la anak! :)

• My Adzryl cepat bosan with his toys or rides. Ohh thanks to my friends, neighbour and family... Adzryl has his own collection of ride-ons! Sampai 5! Hihihi. Will blog about that later. Thank you, all! ;)

• He eats a lot nowadays! We feed him anything jer sekarang. Takde pantang sangat masa dia belum 1 year dulu. Apa yang kitorang makan, we feed him as well. Tapi beringat-ingat laa. Takde laa main sumbat je apa². :)

• He looks small and slim but badan dia boleh tahan semangat jugak. Try dukung him then you'll know. ;)
  

• Alhamdulillah up till now, he's a healthy baby. Sakit biasa² tu ada la jugak tapi it's minor. Sehari dua dah baik. Dia pun dah lama tak demam! Syukurrrr. I paling takut kalau my baby demam. Kalau ada heat sket, abis kelam kabut hidupku. Mesti risau sangat² walaupun tak demam pun sebenarnya! Huuuuu! Ohh! My Adzryl sometimes kepala dia cam panas tapi dia tak demam. Selalunya jadi camtu kalau nak tumbuh gigi or selsema. Nothing to be worried about. Tapi being his Mummy, mesti lah I risau lebih kan? It's normal. Hiks. :P

• He's an active and lasak lil'toddler. Biasa laa. Baby boy kannnn! ;)

• He's clingy at times especially bila malam. He wants me, and only me! Kalau Daddy dia pujuk pun tak jalan. Once dia nampak me, teruk merengek nak Mummy! Alahai... Si manja ku! :D

• He's a MANJA lil'toddler! Sangat manja lately ni. Kalau dia tiba² datang mood nak manja², nanti dia baring ala² meniarap and guling² sebelah I or his Daddy. Kekadang tu siap baring and golek atas our body. Pastu sandar² manja. Eiii geram tau!!! :D

• He knows and tau camne cara nak KISS. If we say 'baby kiss Mummy!' or 'kiss Daddy please!'... Or sebut the word "kiss", he'll bend down and kiss your cheek. It works on me, my Husband and even his toys. Hahaha. Comel jer! Sometimes he'll let out a cute sigh and buat bunyi "muahhh" bila dia kiss tu. Comelllll! :)

• Dia paham maksud "bummm". Cam kalau nak soh dia baring kat bantal ke or mana², say 'bumm Adzryl. bummm...' then nanti dia akan baring. Haha. Cute! Tapi sometimes bahaya gak. Sebab bila sebut camtu, dia akan terus baring tak kira di mana. Sometimes tu dia terus baring ke belakang. Kalau atas tilam or carpet, takpe gak! Ni kekadang atas lantai. Bahaya wooo! So if you see him, please tengok dulu keadaan keliling ekk before sebut "bummm". ;)

• My boy masih ada 7 gigi altogether. 4 kat atas, 3 kat bawah. No signs of the next teeth yet. Hehe. :)

• 1 thing yang funny about him! I think dia dah boring tengok PHD laa. He loves watching cerita orang² tua. I mean, the dramas la. Tak kira in English ke, Malay ke, kalau dia tengok crita tu cam kusyukkk jer. Macam faham je apa script dorang tu cakap. Focus betul! Haha. :D

• He hates to be all strapped up in his car seat. Aiyoyooo. Pening Mummy!
  

• Kalau dia nangis, very-the-drama-prince tau! Nangis yang jenis siap keluar air mata tuuu. Drama betul! Sebab bila angkat or dukung him, terus diam and sengih². Sabar je lah! :))

• He loves the mirror!! I mean, kalau tengok cermin and dia nampak muka dia, nanti dia senyum² and sometimes gelak². He loves to see his reflection. Bukan in mirrors jer, tapi anywhere yang leh nampak his reflection. Comel! :D

• He loves the wheels, no doubt! Suka sangat dok kat driver's seat and dok goyang stereng kereta, or play with the signals and wipers. Geram tau! Tapi comel so tak kisah! LOL. ;)

• "Baby See, Baby Do". Yes! Suka tiru apa yang Husband & I buat. Hahaha. Comel lah kamu wahai anak ku! :D

Hmmmmm.

Ikutkan cam banyak jer lagi nak update about him. Tapi cukup setakat ni jer kot. Lupa la plak kan sebab kejap type, kejap save, kejap type, kejap save! Haha.

Adzryl's 1st Birthday Preparation *Part 2*

Helloooo!! :)

First of all...........

A cake is a must-have in every Birthday parties. For me, it's kind of important to have one as it's the climax of every party! Hikk. At first, I thought of having a jelly cake for Adzryl tapi bila fikir² balik, jelly cake tu takde lah besar mana. Takut tak cukup plak for all my guests. Hmmm.

So yes!!! Finally........

I found the right cake maker for Adzryl's 1st Birthday Cake!!!!!!! ;D

Before this, I was confused between these 2 makers... Either Lilian or Mardhy, but since my bestfriend Ejin suggested Mardhy, her old friend from Uni, so i decided... Why not!? :)

Ohh FYI, Ejin has tried both Lilian's and Mardhy's service. Lilian is a pro, no doubt because her cakes are all pretty & awesome!! While Mardhy on the other hand, is quite new in the business but her designs are nice!! Ejin has ordered few times from Mardhy for her son's Birthday, 2 years in a row... I think! (sebab 1st birthday her son she ordered from Lilian tak silap I) Hmm. So that shows how much she trusted her kan? Plus, Ejin commented that her cakes are not only pretty but delicious too! Waaaaa... Penting tuh!! Let me quote her again... Not only cantik but sedap! Betul betul betul... Hehehe.

She can make cakes for any occasions, be it for birthdays, weddings, and even "naughty cakes". If you know what I mean. Haha! I have lots of Lilian's cake designs emailed to me long time ago including "naughty cakes" tu. Sapa² nak tengok, email me! Hahaha. Ohh. Masa I dapat pictures tu semua, I dok ber'email² dengan Lilian untuk discuss pasal hantaran cake. But end up, tak jadi order! Susah nak contact Lilian nih because she does homebased business kan and takde blog or whatever pun. I dapat her contact number pun from my friend, Ejin. Oh yeah. I think now Lilian deal or ada link with Eventus tak silap. Because I see her cake designs semua Eventus yang promotekan. Hehe.

Well, for me, Mardhy is still pretty new in the business sebab her designs so far tak banyak yang related to Birthdays. Mostly related to Weddings, hantaran, and novelty cakes paling banyak! Niceeeee... But of course, expensive sket lah kalau the whole cake memang 3D kan! Hehehe. So for Adzryl, I'm still looking for the right design! Haihh...

I emailed Mardhy the other day and she replied soon after. And last night, she called me for the very first time as promised. :)

Ohh... She sounded almost & sooo familiar! Haha. She sounded like my friend, Ejin!! Especially the way she talk & her accent... So very the British! Hihihi. Me likeyyy!

So we talk and talk, discuss and discuss...

Boy, I still don't have any designs in mind lahhh! How nih!? Hmmmm.

Well, Mardhy is free for 4th July 2010... Yayy! That's most important kan? The design boleh fikir² lagi... Hehe.

So yeah, I've made up my mind!

Mardhy is the chosen one for making our Adzryl's 1st Birthday cake!!! Awww... :)

Adzryl's 1st Birthday Preparation *Part 1*

Hikk.

Nothing much pun so far. This plan is just between me & my Husband. Belum di ura² kan (wahh ayat!! :P) to our families lagi. *ahem* Me kan suka plan sendiri. Macam² mana pun, our families kena ikut our plan! Takmo jadik cam kenduri aqiqah dulu. Letih laa nak tunggu semua orang! Hikk. :P

Ohh!

Paling penting... The date has been set!!! Yayy! When?? On the day he turns ONE, of course! :P

Hmmm. Lots of things to plan & consider now!

Birthday cake??

I have a few designs and dah ada some cakes maker in mind... Cuma kena select betul² laa before deciding kan!

Theme??

Ohh masih belum ada... Sedang difikirkan! At first I thought nak buat theme Splish Splash tapi memandangkan "venue"nya mungkin kurang sesuai and plus, nanti kang jadik kelam kabut plak sebab takkan all the babies nak dress up in swimming attires kan! Hikk. So need to rethink back! ;)

Venue??

So far, most probably it will be held at our home sweet home. Rasanya our compound tu akan digunakan sepenuhnya! :)

Food??

Masih difikirkan... Dah list out kan the menu tapi nak survey² lagi. :)

Party Packs??

Ada a few in mind. Kena banyak survey lagi nih! :P

Photographer??

Maybe it'll be either EOG (our Maternity & Newborn photoshoot photographer) or KertasPuteh (Adzryl's MA&CJ photographer)... Both boley tak? Hikk. :)

Guests??

The VIP guests mesti lah kawan² si tecik kan!! That includes my friends' and Blogger friends' kids & babies. ;) I'll send the invite when it's ready ya! :)

What else??

Hmmmm.

Banyak nak kena buat ni... Orang lain dah jauh & banyak dah plannya. I masih terkial-kial. Hikk. Masih ngan perangai lama kot? Semua pun nak last minute! Hahahaha.
