FIRST Eid ul-Fitr (Part 1)

Assalamua'laikum.... & G'day to my non-Muslim readers! (Is there any?) :)

So here goes my Hari Raya story-telling... Note that I'm sooo malas nak summarizekan my ceritera so kalau rasa larat, read on... If not, click on the X-button at top-right corner of the page okeh! (Suka ati saya laa nak tulis panjang mana pun! Ye dok? :P) Hehehe.

Eid ul-Fitr or Id-ul-Fitr (Arabic: عيد الفطر ‘Īdu l-Fiṭr‎), often abbreviated to Eid, is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadhan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Eid is an Arabic word meaning "festivity", while Fiṭr means "to break the fast" (and can also mean "nature", from the word "fitrah"); and so the holiday symbolizes the breaking of the fasting period. It is celebrated starting on the first day of the Islamic month of Syawal.

Eid ul-Fitr is a three day celebration and is sometimes also known as the "Smaller Eid" (Arabic: العيد الصغير al-‘īdu ṣ-ṣaghīr‎) as compared to the Eid ul-Adha that lasts four days and is called the "Greater Eid" (Arabic: العيد الكبير al-‘īdu l-kabīr‎).

Muslims are commanded by the Qur'an to complete their fast on the last day of Ramadan and then recite the Takbir all throughout the period of Eid ^{[Qur'an 2:185 (Translater by Shakir)]}.

Okay, lets continue! :)

Day 1 - On The Way
Date: 28th September 2008
Venue: SK-Shah Alam-Highway Guthrie-Highway Utara-Selatan. :)
Time: Late evening till dawn (before Sahur)

On Sunday, early in the morning, we lepak at my MIL's house. Dekat ajer. 5 minutes drive from our house (minus the traffic lights, of course!). My in laws are going back to Kuala Kangsar (KK, where Hubby's Atok lived) that morning so we dropped by just to saje jumpa². Hehehe. After they made their moved at around 09:00++, we made our move to the ATC Car Service Centre (something like that laa nama dia). Hubby wanted to have a last minute car service. So while his car is being serviceeddd, we walked to the nearest Jusco! Haha. Yeap. Kata kat Seri Kembangan... Of course ler dekat sangat ngan Jusco! And yeap, the Service Centre is just opposite Jusco!! So suka ati jer laa nak berjalan-kaki ke sana. Chewahh! Well, well... What did we bought there?

Ohh. You see..... We still have many Jusco Gift Vouchers to use. Semua tuh hadiah Wedding, mind you! :) Sooo.. Aper lagiii... In 2 hours, we grabbed apa yang sempat! Hehehe. Just 2 tops for me & a cool berangin-angin sandal for Hubby. Haha. I know you loved it, Bb! :)

After the quick shopping, we rushed back to ATC (the Service Centre) sebab tokeii sudah panggil wooo... Alright! Shopping dah settle! Kereta dah smooth & vroommm²... Apa lagi?? Oh yeahhh... Kain bajuuuu! Huarghh! Sangat malas mau melipat baju & mengemas bagai untuk travel lama... Isk! Hubbyku sangat pandai! Oleh kerana dia tau Wifeynya nih sangat laa lembab dalam segala hal (not all okeh! Bab bersiap jerr.. :P), so he dropped me off kat umah & bertitah supaya saya cepat² kemas baju etc... While he, on the other hand, sambung kuar gi cuci his car kat kedai! Hehehe.

Okeh! So and so. From petang till late evening (ada beza ke ek? :P), after packing up our stuffs & belongings (moi bawak sangat banyak bag!!! sampai Hubby dah bising & muncung... Woops! Sorry...), we head straight to Shah Alam! Sepanjang bulan puasa ni, tak penah pun lagi Buka Puasa kat umah Mama. One of the weekends, we did plan to break-fast with my parents but on the same week yang kitorang plan tu, my Along invited us all to Buka Puasa at her house pulak. Alahai. I miss Mama's cookings! Huhu. We arrived home (SA) at around 21:00++. Lambat kan? Hehe. We didn't have proper Buka Puasa meals. We just ate kudap-kudapan dulu. Makan apa ekk dalam kete? Ntah lupa... Nuggets McD kot? Hmmm.

Oh yeah. Note to myself. For the very first time, I had to leave ViVi (my dearest car) at our front porch (di rumah kami di SK) since Hubby insisted to drive his car, WiWi, instead. (Psstt.. WiWi is the nickname I gave to Hubby's car! :P) Ye larr. Sejak saya drive auto-car nih, sangat malas mau drive manual-car. Hubby plak bukan jenis auto² nih. So for sure lah dia nak drive kereta sendiri kan?! Hehehe. :P

Lepak SA till almost midnight. Borak² with my Mama & Papa, my little Bro & my younger sister. Eh silap! Younger sister, Abby, tengah bad mood time tu! Don't know why. Gaduh ngan Amir larr tuu... Oh! Amir is the baby of the family. The youngest! Bukan boyfriend Abby okehhh... Hehehe. (See! Me dah mula merepek... :P)

Hmmm. Before we gerak balik kampung. As I told you before (did I?), our FIRST Raya together will be at his kampung in Kuala Kangsar, Perak! :) Hubby's Atok & Opah masih sihat wal-afiat.. So as always, his family will celebrate Raya at his Atok's house. Sangat meriah!! Cite hok nih, cite lain kali okeh... Cite hok awal² dulu! :P

You know what? Unlike other people, Hubby prefers to drive balik kampung from 00:00 onwards everytime during Festive Seasons. Or sharp at 00:00 hours! Why? Because we're both night-crawlersss... Hahahaha. Nahhh. Because he can maintain the tak-mengantuk'ness while driving on a longgg journey. Hubby memang dah macam ni since the first time I knew him. Di awal perkenalan, *ewahh* Hubby (dulu "kawan") went to see me in SA before he drove off at sharp 00:00 to KK on Hari Raya eve. And that was back in 2005. Hehehe. So sweetttt...berjumpa & ala-ala beraya dulu before he made his way up North! Skang tak payah lagi... Every Raya dah confirm² ngendeng & ikot Bb balik kampung kan kan?? Hihihihi. Gataiii.... :P :)

Hmmmm. The journey to KK was smooth. In fact, since Ahad-malam tu lagi semua jalan smooth! Seriously... No jammed. Less cars on road. Even less cars on the Utara-Selatan Highway! Miracle sungguh!! Ohh akan tetapi... Kesian my Bb..... Nape? Sebab me tinggalkan dia sorang² memandu di dalam kegelapan malam... Huhuhu. I'm really sorry, Hunn! I didn't mean it. Mengantuk & tak larat yang amattt! Rasanya sebab flu & headache kot?? Kan me dok sakit pening & selsema the week before. Shian my Hubby... But ey! I tido dengan kebenaran okehh.. Bukan simply wat tak reti & terus tido! Siap mintak izin lagik... Hehe. Hubby memahami! Yayy!! :D

Eh ehh... Tengok laa apa Encik Hubby saya wat when we made the 2nd stop at R&R Sg.Perak! Ohh.. Before that, we stopped-by R&R wajib (bak kata Hubby) which is R&R Tapah but I forgot most of the stories during the pit-stop. Hehe. So nih laa hasil snap²-an Hubbyku. 2, 3 snap pun jadik laa kan Sayang? Me tau Bb kebosanan sebab your Wifey dok baring jer dalam kete! Uhuk! Ampun maaffff....

Sunyi jer kannn... Huhuhu.

Perjalanan diteruskan dan alhamdulillah.... Kami selamat sampai di Kuala Kangsar dekat² 04:30. Right on time for Sahur! :) Hurmmm. Segan nyer saya! First time masuk umah Atok suami saya. Suami?? Hihihi. Macam tak caya jer kan? :P :P

Alrighty! That's the 1st-half of the 1st day of our Hari Raya cuti-cuti trip story-mory. (Fuhh! Penat menulis ayat yang ni.. Nak jugak sebut satu²! Tak pedulikkk.. Hehe!)
